Have a Bedroom Makeover? Follow these tips!

With the end of 2021 nearing, individuals are giving their personal spaces a makeover. Especially the bedroom.

Bedrooms are the sanctuary of one’s mind. You feel at peace, engage in intimacy and even refresh for the next day. Thus decorating it is vital. And with 2022 coming, some decor trends are setting new trends in the market.

Let’s see the trends:

  • Canopy Bed Frames

Our beds often are open. Giving breathing space and comfort. However, designers have now seen a trend in making beds a special zone. Especially, for having date nights, movie nights and for surprise decors.

And that brings the trend of adding frames to the bed. Making the bedroom look dramatic and bold. It also adds to the chic & elegance levels. Choosing an iron frame around the bed is stylish & still allows to keep it open.

  • Peel & stick wallpapers

If you fall under the category of often decorating, then peel & stick is a must for you. This is seen as a rising trend amongst youngsters that choose to move to new locations.

A commonly used design is the Peel & Stick Murals. And is now used to add highlights to the bedroom. Not just on the walls but also on the ceiling.

  • Getting back to natural pieces

The upcoming trend often seen among newly married is to style with natural pieces. Like earthly hues & textures that keep the vibe natural, cool & comforting. This also enhances the feeling of peace & rejuvenation.

Fabrics like lines & cotton also are a complimentary choice while choosing wicker/wood or rattan furniture.

  • Light beddings

The shade sage green is hiking the most. This is because of its ‘soft, calming yet sophisticated’ bedding for the colour. It’s more like the grown-up mature version of green that works perfectly with all pastel shades.

  • Opting out of matching sets

This trend is getting outdated at a tremendous speed. Having the same hue on the bedspread, pillows, curtains, night lamps and covers is a huge bore.

The trend now is to personalize than make it seem technical, monotonous & robotic. Choosing decor that complements each other in different shades & textures is the key.

So if you are planning to get some nice colours or add some pieces to the room or are opting for a whole makeover, choose from the ongoing trends & keep it classy!
